Apple's iCloud and iTunes, is not a name which needs an introduction. Such services allow you to store songs on cloud and then stream them to your Mobile devices, desktops, etc. Carrying on this very Trend Samsung recently launched its own Samsung Music Hub providing cloud based radio, music store and Locker.

AP9RA74TYKHD

Samsung with launch of Galaxy S3 is determined to expand this service and offer it to more and more customers. Just like Google Music you would be allowed to Upload your own songs and access them in addition to streaming from Samsung's own collection.

Samsung Music Hub provides 100GB of free online storage. This number is much large if compared to Apple's icloud which grants only 5GB storage with 25,000 song limit. The restriction with free version is no streaming and only allowed to be downloaded and played offline. IAf you want to access more then Samsung has 2 levels of subscription to choose from.

How to get Samsung Music Hub?

It is basically an applications that can be downloaded from Samsung apps on your device. Once your device is eligible to get this, you can head to App store and download it and use after choosing your subscription plan. Before letting you get into this service too much let me remind this service at present is available for select devices and countries like Galaxy S3 in UK,France, etc. Samsung has broad plans of expanding it to much more devices and countries. It also would integrate it with iTunes via its iOs version and Samsung's own Smart TV.

Mobile Subscription

Costing 9.99 USD  this would provide you streaming capabilities. If you have happened to use Spotify Premium, you would discover the prices being same. You can also get a 6 month subscription at 54.99 USDand a 12 month subscription at 99.99 USD.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscription would get you access to Samsung Music hub on 4 supported devices starting at 12.99 USD which again just like Mobile subscription can be extended to a 6 month at 69.99 USD and 12 month at 134.99 USD.

The Samsung Devices that are to be covered includes

• GALAXY smartphones and Tablet
• Smart TV
• Smart Blu-ray
• Home theatre systems

These devices can access the Music Hub via the web browser or any PC or Mac.

The further details of this are available on the Australian version of the Website here.
